I wrote this for Michael

My world stopped when I heard that you were gone. I told myself it's a dream, they have to be wrong.
The King of Pop has died, please tell me it isn't true. How are we going to go on without you.

I have only known you through your music and through each song. You have touched my heart with your words that will live on and on. I feel as though I have lost a very close friend. But you will never die in me, my love for you will never end.

You have worked so hard to change the world when you were here. How could this happen, it just isn't fair. Through your music you became a friend to all. You gave us a gift with Bad, Thriller and Off the Wall.

You were destined for greatness from the very start. And through your music you will live on in each of our hearts. I find it  hard to listen to your music without shedding a tear. There is a reason for everything, but what, still isn't clear.

I know my heart will heal in time. You will always have a special place in mine. When I'm alone and in bed at night. I pray and ask God why he has taken Earth's shinning light.
