They never knew part 1

hey im new to this site and i wanted to see what its like to write a story, this is 
dedicated to Halle[: {Brianna}

{1984}

Me:{Sitting on the swing crying}
Michael:{Come over by me} whats wrong sweeite?
Me:Daddy? Do you have to go on tour?
Michael:{Sits in the swing next to me} you know its part of my job
Me:I know but im gonna miss you so much
Michael:I know im gonna miss you too but i will call you everyday.
Me:you promise?
Michael:i promise now before i leave i got you something.
Me:what is it? {Wipes my tears}
Michael:the only way your gonna find out is by following me

I did as he says i followed all the way to my room.

Me:hey why is my door closed?
Michael:its a suprise now close your eyes.
Me:ok {Closes eyes}
Michael:{Opens the door and we walk inside}
Me:can i open them?
Michael:yeah
Me:YOU GOT ME A PUPPPY . [:
Michael;yeah its a boy 
Me:aww thank you daddy {Hugs him} whats his name?
Michael: i wanted you to name him
Me:hmm. how about lucky.
Michael:why lucky?
Me:because i was lucky enough to have the best daddy in the whole entire 
world.{Hugs him}
Michael:Lucky it is{hugs me back}
Me:your coming back for my birthday right?
Michael:wouldn't miss it for the world
Me:ok don't forget im only turning 7 once
Michael: i won't.
Me:{Smiles} i love daddy
Michael: i love you too
Me:i wish you didn't have to leave
Michael:me either sweetie but mommy will be here with you and your new dog
Me:i know i just wish you were here also
Michael:me too hmm. how about me and you bake a cake together 
Me:ok

We go downstairs and make a cake it was really fun we had a little food fight but it 
was all fun i wish he didn't have to go on tour but i know its his job.

Me:{Laying in bed about to go to sleep}
Michael:ok in the morning you know i won't be here
Me:i know 
Michael: im gonna call you everyday and im gonna be home one your birthday ok 
sweeite.
Me:ok dad.
Michael:ok goodnight {kisses my forhead}
Me:Night.

I turned over and fell asleep, i cried a little  but remembered everything was gonna 
be ok.
