The Jackson's Story (part 2)

Joseph and Katherine moved to Gary, Indiana where Joseph got a job in a steel mill.

      â??Joseph I have something to tell you.â? Katherine said very nervously.
      â??Yes dear.â? Joseph said
       â??I donâ??t know how to say this butâ?¦ Iâ??m pregnant.â? Katherine said worried that Joseph would get mad.
       â??Thatâ??s great Katie! When is the baby due?â? Joseph was very excited.
       â??Well I donâ??t know yet. You see I just found out yesterday.â? Katherine said.
       â??Oh well I canâ??t wait!â? Joseph exclaimed.

May 29, 1950
       â??Oh isnâ??t she beautiful Joe?â? Katherine said as she was rocking her new born baby gently in her arms.
       â??Yes she is.â? Joseph said admiring his new little baby girl.
      â??What should we name her?â?
      â??I donâ??t know? Maureen?â?
     â??Oh Joe I like that but what will her middle name be?â?
     â??Hmmmâ?¦ Why donâ??t you think of her middle name.â?
     â??Reillette?  Maureen Reillette Jackson.â?
     â??That is a very nice name honey.â?
