A POEM FOR MICHAEL JACKSON
A SPECIAL GIFT FOR MICHAEL
This is a very specail gift, The reason it's so specail is, It's just for you, from me, Whenever you are lonley, Or even feeling blue, You only have to read this gift, To know I think of you, So keep this gift close to your Heart, It's filled with love inside, Love that is so specail, Just like you are to me. copyrights belong to Sioux McDonnell. HEARTPRINTS As we touch, we leave our identity, On the books, dishes, door handles, Oh please wherever I go today, Let me leave heart prints, Heart prints of compassion, Of understanding and of love, Heart prints of kindness and genuine concern, May my heart touch a lonely neighbour, Or a runaway child, an anxious parent, Or perhaps a dear friend. I shall go out today to leave heart prints, and if someone should say, " I felt your touch" May that one sense be your love touching through me. I offer you my hand in friendship, So that when you reach out in times of need, you can be certain that I'll be there. He followed her to school one day, Wasnâ??t even in the rules To take a lamb to school, But it made the children laugh and play, And then one day they heard them say, Weâ??ve made a rule, Illegal it became to take a lamb to school, Or even speak his name, Everyday got worse and worse, And days turned into years, Instead of hearing children sing, We heard gunshots and saw tears, What must we do to stop the crime? Thatâ??s in our schools today, LETS BRING THE LAMBS BACK INTO SCHOOLS, AND TEACH OUR CHILDREN HOW TO PLAY AND SING.
